A Guest Bathroom in Oak and Soft Neutrals
THE STORY BEHIND THE SPACE
“The palette is simple, so the character comes from the grain of the wood, the movement of the surfaces, and the proportions.”
THE DESIGN DIRECTION
Natural oak gives this guest bathroom its warmth and its focal point. The vanity’s visible grain introduces pattern within a restrained palette, while its slender frame and balanced arrangement of doors and drawers lend the composition a tailored quality. A softly mottled countertop and backsplash extend the neutral tones, creating a subtle transition between the wood and the warm white walls. Above, a broad mirror opens the view through the room, framed by cylindrical sconces that add a sculptural detail. A wall-mounted brass faucet keeps the counter clear and introduces a warmer metallic note. Mediterranean influence emerges through the emphasis on natural textures and simple forms, creating a guest bathroom whose appeal rests in the materials and the care of their composition.
